John has 30+ years of experience as a U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps officer and as a civilian Project Manager / Owner’s Representative / Construction Administrator with extensive knowledge of facilities as well as several years experience in actual construction work. His vast experience covers all phases of facilities - assessment, planning/design, construction, operation, alteration/ repair/ maintenance/ renovation and demolition - in all types of buildings including corporate, justice, educational, institutional, public, healthcare and residential. In addition to his civil engineering background, John is an International Code Council certified Plans Examiner and Commercial Building Inspector and a U.S. Green Building Council LEED® Accredited Professional.

When John is not helping get things built at his day job, he likes to build them his self. John does carpentry, wood and metalworking, both outdoors and in his shop. John also enjoy riding dirt bikes and mountain bikes, rebuilding old trucks and shooting / fishing. There’s also traveling to hang out with his kids and grandkids (John has 2 of each) and volunteering out in the community.
